I am writing to share my experience working with Restore Construction following a devastating fire that impacted my business in Chicago. From the moment the fire occurred, the situation was overwhelming. As a business owner, the uncertainty surrounding the damage, the insurance process, and the potential interruption to our operations was incredibly stressful. Fortunately, Restore stepped in and immediately demonstrated a level of professionalism, persistence, and care that exceeded my expectations. One of the most impressive aspects of working with Restore was their ability to perform the fire restoration work while we remained partially open. They understood the importance of keeping our doors open for our customers and worked carefully around our operations. Their team was respectful, organized, and extremely sensitive to the nature of our business, which made a very difficult situation much more manageable. In addition to the high-quality restoration work, Restore also played a critical role in advocating on our behalf with the insurance company. Our Business Personal Property claim was drawn out for well over a year, and at times it felt like we were getting nowhere. Restore never gave up. They remained persistent, continued pushing the insurance company, and fought to make sure our claim was handled properly. Thanks to their dedication and persistence, the insurance company ultimately paid the full policy limits on our business claim. That outcome made an enormous difference for us and helped our business fully recover after the fire. The restoration work itself was excellent. The quality, attention to detail, and professionalism of the team were outstanding. Restore delivered exactly what they promised and helped us navigate one of the most challenging situations our business has ever faced. I cannot thank Mike Santoro and the entire Restore team enough for their hard work, integrity, and commitment to their clients. They truly went above and beyond for us. If anyone ever needs a restoration company that will stand by them, fight for them, and deliver exceptional results, I would recommend Restore without hesitation.

I operate a Fine Dining restaurant in the area. We had a fire in a kitchen due to a gas leak. Long story short. Chris the GM took care of everything from the minute they walked in, until the final walkthrough. Not only did they do the work we hired them to do, they recommended people to help assist with dropping the hoods and much more. Chris was available at every text i sent out, no matter how early or late. He made the whole process less stressful and relaxing for me as the operator of the business. I cannot begin to tell you enough of great things about the company. The owners are wonderful people, and they did a superb job on the restoration. They even worked on getting bids for the roof and tried to make sure they didn't overcharge. I cannot post pictures due to company policy. But I can tell you that they had everything done in 2 weeks and we never missed a beat on operations. Great communication, and professionalism. I read some of the poor reviews and I'm shocked to say the least. This was not my experience at all. Thanks Chris, Michael and team!

Hired them because they gave the illusion that they do quality work when really they’ll do a rush job and abandon you once it’s finished. When problems arise, even though there’s a warranty in place you get no response or no call back from anybody. All they want is the money. We’ve been without a shower for a month now because nobody wants to contact us or call us back And the shower problem is from poor work they did the first time around. Do not recommend this company at all!!!!

Our sprinkler system burst in mid-December 2025 during an extreme cold weather, causing a major disaster—our showroom got flooded with collapsed ceiling. The fire department chief on site recommended Restore, and we’re so grateful he did. Chris M., the senior project manager, contacted me immediately, and the crew arrived within an hour. They worked efficiently, cleaning and dehumidifying the space until 10 p. m. Everyone on the team was professional, polite, and accommodating throughout the entire process. Chris was especially outstanding—patient, supportive, and always available to answer questions. He truly helped ease my stress and frustration from start to finish, guiding us through both the cleanup and the remodel. Now our showroom is fully restored. We couldn’t be happier with the results and the experience. Special thanks to Chris M. the project manger, Oscar and the cleaning crew, Stan and the remodeling team for their exceptional work. This company is highly professional, and we strongly recommend their services!!
