Momentum AC & Electric

We recently had Momentum replace both a/c units in our home. As everyone knows this is not an inexpensive project but is needed in this part of the country. We had requested a technician to come out and look at our upstairs unit as we have had nothing but trouble with it cutting in and out. We had even had it replaced in the past through a local individual. The problem always persisted. The downstairs unit was still working but struggling. That unit was 20 years old at this point so we felt we should address this before it gave up. We felt that Momentum provided a fair estimate and we were pleased to go ahead with the replacements. There are a couple of things I would like to pass on. 1. The technician, Andrew, was highly knowledgeable and experienced. He ensured I understood what and why we were having the issues. As a maritime electrical technician, I was able to follow what he was explaining thanks to the marine engineers I work with. Speaking with Andrew, we never once felt we were being played so he can make a sale so to say. He was genuinely honest about our situation. We greatly appreciated this. 2. William and the installation team that arrived were very polite and professional. They ensured I was well informed about what they were about to do and how that was going to happen. 3. Every member was neat, clean and presentable. As maintenance technician myself, it can be very difficult to maintain clothing that has not left stains and tears. I was impressed with the team’s appearance considering the job that they regularly perform. 4. When working in the house, the team had taken every precaution to prevent any mess or damage. The team also kept any possible interruptions to an absolute minimum. The only evidence that anyone had been here, where the newly installed units. 5. When the installation was completed, I was shown how the new thermostats worked, Wi-Fi connection and use of the Trane mobile application and given all the appropriate paperwork. Our overall experience with Momentum A/C and their team was exceptional! From speaking with the office personnel to dealing with the service technician and installation team was outstanding. We would recommend Momentum A/C all day long!

We needed to move our air handler from our garage to a closet for some renovations with our contractor. They recommended Momentum. Daniel came out to scope out the job and help design what needed to happen. They were able to accommodate a quick time schedule and completed it in one day. The workmanship was great. Daniel’s crews were professional and courteous and communicated the process well. Final product was great and they even cleaned up their workspace.

I had rats in the attic and they urinated everywhere. I needed the insulation and the ductwork replaced and Momentum delivered. Hector and Sebastian did a great job in the brutal heat. Hector in particular brought a dedication to the task of sanitizing and deodorizing the attic space that I hadn't seen in any other AC contractor who submitted a bid. He was determined to get it right and he did. I would recommend Hector and the team wholeheartedly to anyone in a similar situation as me.

Sergio Morejon did an outstanding job today. He was professional, thorough, and communicated with me from start to finish. He called ahead, kept me informed along the way, and was very friendly with my two dogs which I really appreciated. Sergio checked in with me every time he needed to cut power during the full replacement of my 1922 breaker panel. He even ran to Lowe’s twice for supplies and always let me know when he was leaving and returning. The electrical panel replacement was done well and my hot water was finally restored. My only concern was on the scheduling side. The night before the appointment, Yesenia let me know they would likely send two technicians because it was a “big job” and would take around four hours. She also reminded me I would be without power and for me that also means Internet which affects my work because I work from home. However, Sergio arrived alone and completed the entire job by himself. He arrived around 10am in the morning and power and Internet were not restored until about 6pm in the evening. Hot water was running and the full job ended at 6:35pm. Because the timeline increased and I had no advance notice for that change or to let my employer know, I was docked a full day of pay. The office did act quickly in preparing a professional letter for me to provide to my supervisor, and I genuinely appreciated that. I just believe that for work of this size and complexity a two person team should be sent, especially when that expectation is set the night before. A courtesy call at 7-8am in the morning to let me know the job had shifted to a one man, all day project would have given me time to notify my employer and secure coverage. With that notice, I would not have lost an entire day of pay. Sergio himself was absolutely exceptional and I cannot say enough good things about his professionalism and communication. I am very happy and give four stars. He even swept and cleaned up after himself perfectly! Thanks Sergio!
