I was selling a home of a disabled family member that I had to manage from KC MO and home in St. Louis near Mehlvillle. They put a huge amount of work into prepping to sell including a new AC system. The first buyer sees that the home has holes in the screens in back of house and potential roof and siding damage. I chose Big Bear Roofing because they engaged with me immediately and they are a full service repair source which included screens, roofing, gutter, downspout and siding all in one place! I turned in the claim and Troy Marshall with Big Bear met with the claims adjuster on a Saturday morning and was very involved as Troy had already inspected roof so he knew what the adjuster should find. Meanwhile, we got an offer and were under contract on the home in the middle of the claim. We now had deadlines to meet for closing. Troy worked with the claims adjuster and my realtor to get this project underway. Troy made a promise to me to have all the repairs prior to closing. Well supplies don’t always match time frames so we ran into issues with some of the ancillary work on the project which were a big challenge for Troy and Big Bear. But, this man pulled strings and worked into evening and others coming at 4am and they did complete the job as they promised. I was kept informed in the whole process as was my realtor who was panicking. I trusted Troy and he made it happen. This is the kind of sales person/company to deal with. Such a professional and so transparent the whole way! Thanks to you Troy, your manager, the crew and Big Bear for an awesome job! I give Big Bear Roofing my highest recommendation. Our experience specifically with Conor Leach has been great. Conor is a great project manager: He is patient, thorough, and professional. He has navigated us through the insurance claim process, advocated for us, and educated us. I was pleased when Conor let me know that the Big Bear roofing crew identified that the previous roofers had installed an improper cover over our dryer vent. The old cover is not recommended as a dryer vent because it traps lint and is a potential fire hazard. He let me know that his team was replacing the cover with a Broan vent designed for use as a dryer vent. Throughout this process, Conor and the Big Bear team have demonstrated professionalism and integrity.

Excellent customer service! After initially being turned down by our insurance company for roof repair/replacement and only wanted to pay us in our claim to replace a dozen or so hail damaged shingles incurred from the04/01/24 storms in St. Charles (Summerfield neighborhood), project manager Scott Schaad went above and beyond by taking samples of our old shingles for analysis. When he found that the old shingles were discontinued and presented his findings to our insurance company that replacing a few shingles would be out of the question, insurance changed their tune and granted full financial coverage (minus some depreciation) for a full roof replacement! We were ecstatic!! Big Bear did quality work on our roof replacement with quality shingles, installment, cleanup, communication, and overall customer service. Thanks to Scott and the good people of Big Bear Roofing for taking a stressful situation and making it much easier and for "going to bat" on our behalf.
